End symposium
On 6 October 2026, the ALLPreT consortium organizes its online end symposium: a half-day programme open to researchers, regulators, policymakers and anyone interested in advancing allergenicity prediction and risk assessment of novel foods.
The programme will cover new data and methods related to:
- Protein structure and stability
- Immune responses and sensitisation
- Data that can feed into vitro, in vivo and in silico prediction tools
- Computational modelling and data integration for evidence-based risk assessment
Alongside the scientific presentations, the symposium will facilitate discussions with researchers, regulators, and stakeholders to discuss the next steps for allergenicity assessment of novel foods.
Topics for discussion include:
- The current readiness level of different prediction tools
- What is still needed for further development and validation for regulatory application
- Priorities for future collaborative research initiatives
