SV is a Dutch patient organization for people with food allergies and non-allergic food allergies. The foundation was established in 1985. Sharing and stimulating knowledge and experiences about food allergies is our mission. Our goal is to live as well as possible with food allergies.

Erna Botjes is the President of SV and the current Vice President of the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients’ Associations (EFA, elected for the 2015-2021 term) which has members in 24 EU countries. She has ample experience in participating in EU funded projects, including EUROPREVALL and IFAAM representing the patient perspective.
